"My dog (Bichon Frise) had herniated a disc 2 years ago and had to undergo surgery. I was told that he had the potential to herniate another as there was another area that was weak. Almost 2 years to the date it happened again. I took my dog back to the orthopedic vet. that had done the surgery and he did an x-ray. It was suggestive of a herniation. The only way to know for sure was a CAT SCAN. For this he would have to be put to sleep. The vet gave me pain meds and muscle relaxers. I mentioned the PEMF to him and told him I would be trying this treatment on him. This was on a Friday the appt. for the Cat Scan was the following week on a Thursday. I immediately began treating him with the PEMF for 9 minutes twice a day. By Monday I no longer had to give him pain meds. On Thursday I took him in for the cat scan and ask the vet. to please re-evaluate him as he I felt that he was doing so much better than when he last saw him. Several hours latter I recieved a call confirming the herniation. But the vet said that he re-examined him and felt that I could take a wait and see approach. That what ever I was doing for him it certainly seems to be working. I am now a month out from his injury and It is a struggle keeping him quite and stop him from jumping as it now acts as if the injury never occured. Every home should have their own PEMF. Just think of the medications that you would not require. Got a backache from to much yard work. 5 minutes on the PEMF you feel like new versus acetaminophen which is damaging to the liver."
